I get that it's such a first world problem but god damn did the team who design this update not think it through. The only thing I've liked about this update so far is the fact that I can put a lot of apps on the docks, but when you use around 20-30 different apps per day, you can't exactly have them all on the dock at once and use it conveniently.Īll in all, I just hope someone proves me wrong and explain that it's just hidden, but as of now, I'm actually really salty. Sometimes I don't have the 'clear' option for the notification (nor the x button, making me manually clear everything), and the fact that I have to scroll up twice just to access the dock and the control centre menu is also stupid.

I also can't seem to figure out how to get rid of the second split screen (before I just swiped right again to make the single screen full again) but now it won't disappear if I use one finger/two fingers/swipe down/swipe up. I think it's a bug on notability's part since I can still use it on safari/chrome but regardless, it's been super annoying.įor the apps that allows split screen, it's easy to use, but for those that don't, the fact that they just kind of hover awkwardly on the right side of the screen makes it super annoying since I can't see the entire page.

For some reason, I can't do this anymore which makes editing really difficult. Sometimes, the files on notability have stupidly long names and I'd press on the title for a while, wait until the magnifying glass showed up, then scrolled all the way to wherever I needed to edit. It's inconvenient, and I hate how I can't just easily split screens anymore. NOW I need to click the app beforehand, make sure it's on my dock first, and then press/move to the right side to use the split screen. First of all, it was easy to move around what screen I wanted to share by just swiping left, then scrolling to whichever app I liked. I have a few major gripes about this update and its relation to split-screen. I didn't update my ipad for a long time just because I heard terrible things about it (for the iphone) until I thought 'oh well I'll leave my iphone as it is but I'll update it on the ipad since this is a pretty new device and should be able to handle it'.
